For example, I have never applied harder grades of graphite before darkening with softer grades, and I rarely layer. I guess that's due to both of us being self taught - we've made up techniques that work for us, rather than having been taught 'standard' techniques.Nolon Staceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05740807273389808656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211744545692648879.post-33692706721915696552010-03-29T09:46:22.382+01:002010-03-29T09:46:22.382+01:00Hi Clive

I notice you apply softer leads over harder, don't you ever get the problem that the softer will not apply evenly on the harder graphite layer? Well, it looks awesome anyway :)Lene Daugaardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08048312572661283268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-211744545692648879.post-26951122745619934412010-03-28T14:12:23.626+01:002010-03-28T14:12:23.626+01:00Clive, I was wondering if you had done something t...Clive, I was wondering if you had done something to 'save' the whiskers, so had to go back and read the posts I may have missed. They really POP off the darks. Looking good.Lynda Schumacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05770249962267325853noreply@blogger.com
