Teal drawing complete

My Teal drawing is at last complete. The whole idea here was to try and re-create the view i had from a hide at slimbridge wwt in gloucestershire,uk of a group of Teal just hanging around on one of the lagoons.Teal are one of my favourite's they're such pretty little ducks and full of character. The original measures 7.5"x16".As usual my photographic skills are rather letting me down here so apologies for picture quality,i shall post a better image once ive had this one scanned.

Clive, this is amazing. So much detail in this eyecatching piece.
In terms of quality, If you have Adobe photoshop, you can brighten the image some.

Congratulations Clive, because it has been a great work, a beautiful composition. Very detailed bird's feathers ... and the precious water reflections.

thanks Lluis as in many of these style of works it's the water that really brings the picture to life, and i love the challenge of water

Your teal's are great. I love the reflections and also the details you put into the background. They really set the ducks off well.

thanks wendy,i loved the dead vegetation and play of light when i visited slimbridge in february of this year.it was a very bright and clear, crisp day and i wanted to try and encompass that whole atmosphere in this relatively small piece.

This composition works so well. The ducks, the vegetation and the reflection all play off each other to highlight each other. Great stuff!
