Ive finally called time on this image as i feel ive done all i can to liven up the original drawing.i think ive managed to add substantially to the interesting nature of the piece although it's not without problems.most notably the slight indistinctness of the back of the elephant against the tones of the rear falls, but after lots of tweaking ive decided to live with it rather than risk over-doing it.i hope you all feel that the exercise has been worthwhile however.

Definitely worthwhile Clive!
This drawing is beautiful!
Again, job well done Clive
peter and marie thankyou both very much.
nobody else would notice or quite care that the elephant's back seems to be the same tone as the rock. I love it.
thankyou laurisa,i guess ive just been looking at it for too long:-)
Great Drawing of an Indian Elephant .It is so detailed its looks almost like a photo.
thankyou roger
I've been busy lately and haven't got the time to visit your blog but I guess you must have been busier...adding a landscape to an elephant drawing...stressing over the tone of the back of the elephant over the falls...:)
But really, it's amazing! I'm sure it's even more so up close.
About the tone, don't worry about it. You just might hurt the feelings of the elephant a wee bit. But it's an elephant, it'll get over it. Besides, elephants have bad memory....!! Uh oh!
haha...thankyou rin:-)
