That's awesome! So many artists talk about the pleasure of working with graphite, but they don't take it as seriously as other mediums. I finally gave in... I really love graphite, and I'm going to use it in all of my upcoming projects this year. Works like yours do so much to further the cause of graphite as a serious medium. Graphite works can be incredibly expressive and can portray subjects with richness and depth that many other mediums can't always achieve. I look forward to seeing your pieces every time you post!
thankyou very much for the great comments.my first love was always graphite and luckily appreciation for the medium seems to be growing steadily.the long hours sitting at the drawing board however played havoc with my back for many years and so reluctantly i started painting which put far less strain on the body and now ive got the best of both worlds because i can drop back into graphite occasionally with renewed vigour and inspiration knowing that i'm not reliant on this one medium and the accompanying discomfort for too long
