Drawing one of the locals

In preparation for some new pencil drawings to be produced over the coming months for publication I decided to warm up the pencils by drawing the beautiful Roebuck that visited my garden a few weeks ago.ive always wanted to draw a Roebuck but never been able,thus far,to get close enough to one to get a decent photographic record.so simple though the resulting image will be,it marks the fulfilment of a long-held desire.Here ive worked up the key features of the deers head,next step will be to work up the fur.
